rebekah, Thank you for your comment. I have been thinking about your request and realize I don’t have any books on my list about empaths or hsps who are coping with unhealthy relationships besides toxic parents and self help– inner child healing. Perhaps some books on codependence, and establishing healthy boundaries would be a good addition to my list. I will be on the look out. The main guidance here to note is whether the passive aggressive personality is remorseful, or able to empathize with the empath’s feelings when their aggression opens a wound in the empath. In my opinion, without compassion on their end and some signs of inner emotional growth, this kind of relationship is most likely destructive and it’s time to move on to a healthier kind of relationship. Often we attract others who reflect what we feel we deserve at our core, some time alone to heal and grow love for ourselves exactly as we are will help empaths start attracting healthier relationships. Welcome to our Community! 🙂
